Having some trouble playing this, it freezes as soon as I try to use the controls. I'm on a Mac and I've had trouble with Godot browser games before, so possibly that's the issue.

For sure! Hopefully it's not just me and doesn't send you down a hopeless rabbit hole. But if you're able to find a fix, I'd love to check the game out.
